Text: Matthew 25:21-33
21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Message
The most important event that the church is preparing for at this time is the rapture of the saints. The rapture is the catching away of friends of Jesus to meet with Him in the air when He comes to take them home. We should prepare and be ready for the rapture because Jesus didn’t tell us when He will be coming back. He only told us that He has gone to prepare a place for us and He will come to take us home.

Sadly, those who will go with Jesus in the rapture are only born again Christians that patiently wait for Christ’s return. Jesus told us that it won’t be easy to wait for Him because a lot of people would have gotten tired and the journey would become stressful but if we take advantage of His grace, we will be able to wait till He returns. A wise Christian would be praying for grace now and doing all that Jesus wants so that He will be able to go with Him at the rapture.

Prayer for today: Father, please cleanse me and prepare me for the rapture.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
