Text: Psalms 91:1-10
1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Message
There are two places a youth can derive protection from, either in the secret place of the most High or the in secret cults of Satan. Some ungodly youths in search of power are under the shadow of occultism and demonic forces which would eventually ruin their lives and book a place for them in hell if they fail to repent. The Kingdom of God, which according to the Psalmist is the ‘shadow of the Almighty’, is a wise option for the Christian youth to abide in because of the multifarious benefits attached in being attached to the kingdom.

Faithful Christians are assured of deliverance from the snares of Satan and the terrible sicknesses ravaging the world today if they abide in the secret place of the Most High. They are free from the fear of terror by day or by night. Sinners under demonic oppression can urgently run to the cross for salvation in Christ Jesus. Remember that Mary Magdalene was delivered of seven demons by Jesus Christ (Mark 16:9). He can still save, heal and deliver today. Run to the secret place.

Prayer for today: Deliver me, Lord, from all evils.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
