Text: Exodus 16:9-15
9And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings.
11And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
13And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
14And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
15And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Message
Everyone loves a sunny day, but we need cloudy days too. Without clouds there would be no rain to help plants grow. And without rain there would be no water. But after the rain, there is a beautiful rainbow and a bright sunny sky. Sometimes we feel sad on cloudy days, but above the clouds, the sky is blue and the sun is shiny! In life, problems can be likened to clouds. When trouble comes, we get worried. We then forget that just as the sun is still shining above the clouds, God is still with us when we face problems. He can turn our problems into blessings! When God led His people out of Egypt and through the wilderness, He led them by a cloud.

Sometimes our problems may be small like white, fluffy clouds, at other times they may be as big and scary as thunderstorm clouds. Whenever you are confronted with such ‘clouds’, ask Jesus to help you. He is always by your side because His promise is that, “He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Prayer for today: Lord, help me to trust in You, for you alone can do all things.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
