TOPIC: THE WONDERS OF GOD
TEXT: JOB 5:9-16
9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:
10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.
14 They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night.
15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16 So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
Key Verse: “Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number” (Job 5:9).
MESSAGE
Have you considered how large and wide the sea is, or the height of the mountains, or coral reefs that are deep down in the sea, or the birds that fly so high, or the arrangement of the solar system?
God has designed these things to be so. It shows how great our God is. Everything around us points to the fact that it was in the grand design of God to have it so. It will be foolish of anyone to come out and say that there is no God.
When the devil whispers some things, or he tries to threaten you, just relax because you have a God that designed and created the great universe. He feeds the birds in the air and even takes care of the lilies in the valley; how much more you?
Just let God have His way in your life and watch Him bring out the greatness He has destined for you. Your own point is to accept the word of God, believe it, meditate on its precepts, pray in the promises, act on it and share it with others. The wonder of God will never cease in your life.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, come and do your wonder in my life.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
