DCLM Sincere Milk 27 October 2024 — Unlimited Praise
DCLM Sincere Milk 27 October 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Unlimited Praise
Topic: Unlimited Praise
Text: Psalm 34:1-8
1(A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Key Verse: “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1
Message
Mary had learnt so much from her bible study classes that she decided to plan her programmes differently, for better results this year. She tagged it “Unlimited Praise.” By this, she adjusted her schedule to making out five (5) minutes of every hour just to praise the Lord. At times, she sings and sometimes, recollects God’s faithfulness in her mind and bless His holy name. Although she prays and communicates with God every day, Mary still loves to take this time out to praise God because it helps her acknowledge God for His goodness, provisions, healing, health, protection, guidance, preservation and so many other blessings too numerous to mention.

Praises help to build a closer relationship with Jesus. There are so many things to thank the Lord for. He delights in the praises of His children. Praise moves the hand of God to do more for us. Can you set some time apart to praise the Lord today? As you do, it will help others to reverence, follow and accept Him as King and Lord too.

Prayer for today: Lord, give me a heart that praises You always.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
