Message
Spiritually being a virgin is to be clean, unspotted, unstained, holy and without blemish. The goal of our Lord Jesus for His church (believers) is to keep us clean and unpolluted by the world until He comes to take us to heaven.
Our Bible passage is a story of the four daughters of a man called Philip the Evangelist. Paul and his evangelism team stopped over in the house of this Philip the Evangelist at a place called Caesarea. Philip was one of the seven people appointed to take care of the welfare of the early believers. He was a man of good behaviour, honest and full of the Holy Spirit. Philip’s four daughters were pure and fully engaged in the work of God like their father. They used the gift of prophesy given to them to glorify God. They did not join other girls in their community to engage in immoral acts. They brought honour to God and their father as they joined him in doing the workof God.
Every believing child should be holy and dedicate his/her life to serve God. You must not be part of the defilements and corruption in the world. Use your God-given gifts to God’s glory and be an example of a Christian everywhere. Also, you must demonstrate Christian virtues like love, patience, longsuffering, respect for people, faith and prayer. Always join and participate fully in your family devotion.

Prayer for today: Lord, help me to remain pure and consecrate my life and talents to the glory of Your name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
