Text: Judges 1:19-22
19And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
20And they gave Hebron unto Caleb, as Moses said: and he expelled thence the three sons of Anak.
21And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.
22And the house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel: and the LORD was with them.

Message
Deworming is the process which helps get rid of worms that enter the human body. Deworming should be done using prescribed drugs and appropriate dosages.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends periodic (once a year) deworming of all children living in areas which has the prevalence of soil-transmitted parasitic worms that is over 20 percent, and twice a year when it is over 50 percent. They also suggested health and hygiene education in schools to reduce transmission and reinfection by encouraging healthy behaviours and adequate sanitation.

Scripturally, a spiritual worm expeller is applied to fighting the enemies of the soul. Caleb in our Bible passage drove out the three sons of Anak (giants in the family of Goliath) from the land as they were causing disturbance. Just as a worm causes discomfort to the human body and can only be removed by a worm expeller so also is sin. When sin which is the enemy of your soul is in your life, it will hinder you from getting to heaven and that is why you need a spiritual worm expeller to drive sin away. This can be achieved through genuine repentance and cleansing through the blood of Jesus. Then you must determine never to go back to sin anymore.

Prayer for today: Lord, give me the strength to reject and do away with any form of sin in my life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
