Key Verse: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
Message
The privileges, protection and the affluence around the princes and princesses of our nations are enormous. They are carefully treated with dignity. In a greater measure, all children of God enjoy greater privileges because the King of kings and owner of all treasures and powers is our Heavenly Father. We are peculiar and special to Him through Christ. However, these special benefits are not automatic to everyone. They are only for genuine children of God. To be qualified therefore, you must be born again by acknowledging your sinfulness, repenting and accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. As a royal priest, stand for righteousness always; and that will grant you the privilege to enjoy the heavenly treasures and resources.

Peculiar people can show forth the praises of God as they shine as light in their exalted position with Christ where they are kept as the apple of His eye. They enjoy unlimited answers to their prayers. As a student, your memories are blessed and the promise of becoming ten times better in your studies will be realized because God is faithful.
Quote: Show forth the praises of God
Challenge: In Christ, all things are yours.
Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to make heaven at last, in Jesus’ name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
