Topic: Forgive And Flourish
Text: Job 42:10-17
10And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
12So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
13He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.
15And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
16After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.
17So Job died, being old and full of days.
Key Verse: “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10
Message
Believers often face tough times that will make our friends to try to comfort us. Sometimes, even if we did not do anything wrong, they might misunderstand and blame us, like Job’s friends did. Instead of getting angry and seeking revenge, we should wish them well and pray for them like Job did for his friends.

In a small village, Lily and Jasmine were best friends who played together daily. One day, Jasmine accidentally broke Lily’s cherished toy, leaving Lily upset and angry. However, Jasmine apologized sincerely, seeking forgiveness. Despite still feeling hurt, Lily chose to forgive Jasmine, realizing the joy their friendship brought. Their friendship grew even stronger from that moment forward.
Forgiving others is important, even when we are upset. It not only helps us feel better, but also pleases God. Always remember, forgiveness is good and brings blessings.
Activity: Make a list of people you need to forgive or ask forgiveness, and then talk to them today.

Prayer for today: God, give me courage to always forgive others so as to experience Your blessings in my life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
