DCLM Sincere Milk 4 April 2026 —The Everlasting God
DCLM Sincere Milk 4 April 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Everlasting God
Topic: The Everlasting God
Bible Reading: Psalms 90:1-6 (KJV)
1(A Prayer of Moses the man of God.) Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
3Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
4For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
6In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
You probably have read or heard about some great men and women in this world. Some were rulers; ruling over great and powerful nations and some over very poor and backward people. Some were men and women who achieved great feats. Some were wicked and some were kind. Some may still be alive but some have died and are gone. But there is something common among them; they existed only for a while. The world and its people are changing even technologically and morally. Morally, many conducts that were prohibited in some countries years ago are permitted now. The world is becoming more decayed and unsafe with each new day.

Men and women, even children are becoming gradually more wicked and heartless. Changes and decay are all around us. But our Bible reveals that there is Someone Who does not change. Only one person and one place remain unchanged or everlasting: God and His dwelling place, heaven. He is called God because some characteristics can only be found in Him. For instance, He is the only One Who lives forever, never grows old and whose characters and laws never change. Choose to trust this unchanging and everlasting One and He will bless you.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
