Message
The word ‘unity’ means oneness, closeness, togetherness, being undivided. As friends of Jesus, the Bible enjoins us to dwell (live) together in unity, not attacking one another, not showing hatred for one another. Great things can only be achieved if we have love for another. The love of Christ must dwell richly in a believer’s life before he/she can show it towards other believers. Do you love other friends of Jesus like yourself or you hate, abuse and gossip about them?
Jesus encourages His disciples to show love to one another. He says, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” (John 15:12) Apostle Paul also told the Christians at Ephesus to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3-6). Showing love to one another and maintaining unity among the brethren are true marks of Christian fellowship.
Maintaining unity among true followers of Christ will draw more people to Jesus and also attract God’s blessings to all members of the fellowship. Do not keep malice or bear grudge against another friend of Jesus. Rather, let the love of Christ bind you together.
God, please help me to live in unity with other friends of Jesus so that more people can come to You.

Ephesians 4:3-6
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
