TOPIC: All You Need Is In Jesus.
Text — Colossians 1:15-19
15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Message
Suppose you were given a pen and paper to list all your needs. How many things will you write? There are many needs in the life of a child. King Solomon was given the opportunity by God to choose what he wanted most. He made the right choice and He was blessed. Now, the first question is, What do you need? Two, which of these needs is the most important? The second question is more difficult to answer than the first.
Sometimes, you may need to run to Mom or Dad to guide you to choose the most important thing you need.
But the Lord, Jesus Christ has given us the guideline for making the best choice when choosing our needs. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Consider this list and choose what you think you need: Salvation, Clean heart, Academic Success, Scholarship, Be the best in your class, Good health, Love from Mom and Dad, Love from all your friends, provisions of school fees, Books, New school uniform, Protection, Good future and any other good things not mentioned here.
All these are found in Jesus. When you have Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you have everything. Consider His promise: “And Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13) If you have Jesus, you have everything.

Prayer for today: Lord, teach me to know that all I need in life is in the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
