TOPIC: BE FRUITFUL
BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 1:26-28
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
KEY VERSE:
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it …” (GENESIS 1:28a)
MESSAGE:
When God created man, He pronounced the blessing of fruitfulness upon him and from that time man began to prosper until he ate the forbidden fruit and fell out of the grace of God.
The blessing of fruitfulness is not only related to child bearing but also to every area of our lives. The desire of God is that you should be fruitful and multiply. These include:
(i) Fruitful in good works – become a friend of Jesus by surrendering your life to Jesus. Live a holy life and let your life bear the fruit of the Spirit, namely – love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
(ii) Fruitfulness in spiritual things – Love for God and His word.
Drinking daily from the sincere milk of His word so as to grow.
(iii) Fruitfulness in serving God – Develop desire to use your talents to work for God and also preach the gospel to sinners.
(iv) Fruitfulness in academic and career – You will excel and have good success. You will be the head and not the tail.
The blessing of fruitfulness will make you to multiply in every area of your life. Then you will replenish the earth by becoming a shining example for others to follow.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, let the blessing of fruitfulness be my portion.

Psalm 1:1-3
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
