Text — Colossians 3:12-17
13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Message
Sam cherished his tool box very much. He had saved a lot before he could have enough money to buy the tools. Harry, a younger friend visited him and the next day, Sam discovered that the tool box was gone!

Sam ran out of the house in anger to find Harry. His mission was to fight and make Harry’s life miserable. As he turned the corner, he saw Harry coming and they both stopped. Harry held up the tool box and said “I want to return this. I stole it, I am sorry. I hope you can forgive me. I will understand if you never want to be my friend again”
They stood there for a long time, looking at each other. Then Sam said “you are my friend, I forgive you”. He then took the tool box from him and went back home. Jesus has forgiven all of us. The least we can do is to forgive as He also forgave us. Whatever your parents, siblings, friends, classmates or neighbours might have done to hurt you, ask God for grace to forgive them.

Prayer for today: Lord, help me to forgive as You have forgiven me.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
