Text: Exodus 25:35-40
36Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
37And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
38And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
39Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
40And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Message
Antoni Gaudi is listed as number one of the world most brilliant Architects. The most famous of his projects is the 1883 cathedral known as La Sagrada Familia, still under construction today. Gaudi’s work would go on to have great impact on many generations. What then does an architect do? Architects are professionals trained in the art and science of building design. They produce patterns that our builders follow. Can you imagine a world without architects?
We would have missed the beauty of the fine buildings we see all over the world.
The greatest Architect is God. The human architects cannot be compared to Him. Can you see the beauty of the world He designed and built? He gave the pattern of the tabernacle to Moses. God does not only give pattern or design for physical building but, also the spiritual building of our lives. God’s laws form a pattern upon which our lives must be built. We do not choose to serve God the way we want, God has a pattern or a way He wants us to serve Him. So, it is not the way you want but the way God wants. He wants you to serve Him in righteousness and in truth. He cannot accept anything outside His pattern.

Prayer for today: Lord, give me the wisdom to pattern my life after Your word.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
