DCLM Sincere Milk 9 June 2026 — God Knows You

DCLM Sincere Milk  9 June 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God Knows You

Topic: God Knows You

Bible Reading: Psalm 139:1-6 (KJV)

1(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.

2Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

3Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

6Such knowledgeis too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

KEY VERSE: “O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.” Psalm 139:1-2

Message

God knows everything about you more than anyone else ever could. He knows your thoughts before you even speak them, He sees when you’re happy or sad, and He understands everything you go through. Even when you feel alone, God is always aware of what you are feeling and thinking.

It is amazing that God, the Creator of the universe, cares about every little detail of your life. Samuel was fast asleep in the temple when God called his name. Probably he might have been wondering how God knew his name. At last Samuel understood the fact that God knows everything about him. When God called Adam and asked “where art thou?”; it does not mean He did not see Him. God knew at that time that Adam had sinned and was trying to hide from Him.

No one among the over 7 billion people in the world can hide from God. He knows and sees us when we are sitting down, standing, running, playing, sleeping and doing other daily activities. The knowledge of the truth that God knows and sees us should make us desire and strive to always do things that are pleasing in His eyes.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

God, thank You for knowing me. Help me trust that You will always care for me.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
