DCLM Sincere Milk 4 December 2024 — God Never Fails
DCLM Sincere Milk 4 December 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God Never Fails
Topic: God Never Fails
Text: Numbers 23:19-21
19God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
20Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
21He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
Key Verse: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
Message
God has never failed, can never fail and will never fail. There are times when it appears as if we are left alone to suffer. That was how it was for the Israelites at the border of the Red Sea. All hope seemed lost as their enemies approached and the Red Sea was before them. It was as if they will perish. Did He fail them? No! He has never failed, can never fail and will never fail.

Is there anything in your life right now that makes you feel as if there is no hope for you? It only appears to be so. Hope in God, pray to Him about the problem, believe in your heart and be assured of God’s faithfulness, even if it does not look like it. He delivered Paul and Silas when all hope was gone. He delivered Daniel from the lions’ den. You are the next one in line for the help and deliverance of God. The sickness will be healed, the need will be met and all problems will be taken care of. God will lead you in the right way to go and give you grace to overcome in time of trouble.

Prayer for today: Lord, I know and believe you never fail and can never fail. Help me to trust You with all my heart at all times.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
