TOPIC: NO LACK, NO LOSS AND NO LIMITATION

TEXT: ACTS 27:21-26

Key Verse: “And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship” (Acts 27:22).

MESSAGE:

Apostle Paul was in a ship as a prisoner bound from Jerusalem. While in the middle of the journey, a great storm arose threatening to drown all that were on board. Then, an angelic visitor came to Paul in the night and reassured him that he would arrive safely at his destination. This gave Paul great confidence in the midst of great danger at sea. In God’s presence, he was free from fear while those who sailed with him were filled with terror. There are many things in this life that can make a child of God to be fearful. But faith in the word of God will give us courage to weather through to victory. It is this faith in God’s word that made a man of God to make a declaration to his congregation, saying, “There shall be no lack, no loss and no limitation.”

That statement is a prophetic declaration and affirmation of faith in God’s promises. There were many people who believed this prophetic utterance and became overcomers in times of trouble. If you too will believe the word of God, you will never experience any:

Lack – of food, clothing, shelter and other basic needs.

Loss – of valuable things, your life or those of your loved ones.

Limitation – in your academic pursuits. The sky will not be your limit but your starting point. You will fly high like the eagles and become a great achiever. To enjoy all these provisions, surrender your life to God, trust God and pray to receive all that you desire.

Prayer: Lord, I believe there is no lack, no loss and no limitation in my life from today.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
