6For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Key Verse: “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant things” (Proverbs 24:3,4)

Message

If you see prosperity as something you cannot attain, be sure that there are many young people in your class – the class of the pessimists, passionless and unambitious.

However, hear what Charlse Blair says, “If God’s law of prosperity is to operate in our lives, we must believe that it is God’s will for us to prosper.” There are other youths who wish they were like some millionaire ICT buffs, bankers, manufacturers, publishers, mass media chief executives, and medical doctors, yet they do nothing serious to realize the dream. In Bible times, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were prosperous. Joseph also helped Egypt to prosper in agriculture during a- seven-year of famine. They all applied the principles of prosperity which include: wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel and diligence.

Friend, acquire a good education for knowledge and understanding, train to gain needed skills and ensure you seek counsels to chart the right path in life. Pray also for wisdom from God for the achievement of your objectives. Children of God can have access to His wisdom. Are you one? Through Jesus, you can be one.

Quote: Acquire a good education

Challenge: You can prosper through good counsels.

Prayer for today: Dear God, give me wisdom to succeed, in Jesus’ name.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
