TOPIC: Spiritual Blessings Abound (DCLM Daily Manna 26 November 2025)
KEY VERSE: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3).
TEXT: Ephesians 1:1-6 (KJV)
1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:
The magnanimity and faithfulness of God are always on display in all His work. This is the reason we should show gratitude to Him for adopting us as His children through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross at Calvary. Beyond this, God has also reserved all spiritual blessings for his people in the heavenly places. Unfortunately, most Christians are practically unaware of and unable to access these blessings in their lifetime.

An American, Wilhelm Reichmann, was an heir to a substantial fortune through his family’s wealth in real estate and investments. However, due to a series of legal and bureaucratic complications, he was unaware of the extent of his inheritance for many years. Reichmann lived modestly, not knowing that he had access to significant financial resources. It was only after legal battles and uncovering family records that he was able to access and utilise his inherited wealth.
Everyone who repents of his/her sins and receives Jesus Christ into his heart is adopted into the family of God. This miracle of adoption grants access to all the riches of Christ who “…hath raised us together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). Many Christians remain ignorant of this mystery, although they know the Scriptures that convey the knowledge. The expression “spiritual blessings in the heavenly places” refers to the fact that all we need for life and godliness are already provided in the spiritual realm, requiring the power of prayer and the exercise of faith to receive them in material terms. These two levers – prayer and trust in God’s promises – must be triggered to release the desires of our hearts for every conceivable life endeavour.

Triumphant Christian living involves searching the Scriptures daily, digesting and absorbing spiritual nourishment therefrom, and exercising faith in God’s promises to access solutions to all our needs from “the heavenly places.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Don’t live like a pauper when you can access the riches of Christ.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
