Topic: The Beautiful Feet

Text: Esther 5:1-3

1Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

2And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

3Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

Key Verse: “Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.” Esther 5:3

Message

“A day without prayer is a day without blessing and a life without prayer is a life without power.” (Edwin Harkey) Prayer is one of the means to connect with our God, to turn situations around, change the course of nature and to have desires granted. Unpleasant situations around our personal life, family, church, nation and even globally can be turned the right side up through earnest prayers.

Moses the man of God was faced with the challenge of getting water for the children of Israel. He cried unto God; who alone can make the impossible to become possible. The water of Marah which was bitter was made sweet through Moses’ prayers. Are there some bitter situations in your life? The God that made the water of Marah sweet will take all the bitterness away in Jesus’ Name. Take your case to Him in prayer now.

Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, please take all bitter situations out of my life today.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
