7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

Key Verse: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal” (1Corinthians 12:7).

Message

The gift of the Spirit comes after the baptism in the Holy Ghost. These gifts are for all believers irrespective of their age. You should not exclude yourself because it is given to all boys and girls who desire it for their spiritual benefits.Young Daniel and Joseph possessed the gifts by which they were able to interpret the dreams of kings. Not only that, most of the eschatological studies of today have their reference to what was revealed to Daniel. The manifestation is also for profit. This means that we are to develop and deploy the gifts given to us (Proverbs 18:16). The profit is mainly for the kingdom of God. We use the gifts for reaching out to sinners, helping the confused, resolving doubts and directing people to the way of the Lord. They are not for selfish or financial gain.

The gifts of the Spirit include: i. the word of knowledge ii. Wisdom iii. Faith – a dynamic faith.  iv. The gift of healing. Remember, as studied yesterday, the gifts are for the saved, holy and Holy Spirit-baptized. Pray and receive the gifts.

Quote: The gifts are for all believers

Challenge: You need the gifts for effective service.

Prayer for today: Holy Father, give me gifts for successful ministry, in Jesus’name.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
