Text: Acts 10:34-38
34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Message
The full meaning of the gospel is spelt out in John 3:16 thus: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his Only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not Perish, but have Everlasting Life.”
From the story in Acts 10, Peter learnt a powerful lesson. Jesus is not only the Saviour of the Jews but Saviour of the whole world. God does not have favourites. You can be black, white, red or yellow. You can be from India, China, the United States of America, Russian, Africa or any other country, God’s message is the same for everyone. Believe in Jesus and you will receive eternal life. As you believe, also reach out and preach the gospel to every creature.
Remember, the gospel is for everyone no matter the colour, religion, tribe, race, age or gender. You can spread the gospel message through various means like personal evangelism, sharing of Christian tracts and literature, prayer and your exemplary life. As you go out today, preach the gospel to at least one person. God bless you.

Prayer for today: Lord, I am grateful for Your universal love for mankind.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
