DCLM Higher Everyday 6 March 2026 — The Great White Throne Judgment

DCLM Higher Everyday 6 March 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Great White Throne Judgment

Topic: The Great White Throne Judgment

Text: Revelation 20:11-15

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Key Verse: “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them” (Revelation 20:11).

Message

Imagine standing before a judge, confident in your own righteousness, only to realize too late that your self-righteousness can’t save you. This is a glimpse of the Great White Throne Judgment, a future event where God will judge those who have rejected Him. The throne represents God’s purity, justice, and power. Those who are judged for their sins will face eternal separation from God, and be thrown into the lake of fire. As young people, we must grasp the seriousness of this judgment. The reality of this event should make you draw closer to God to obtain eternal salvation to save your soul from the fiery judgment of God.

The consciousness of God’s eternal judgment should make you live for God and share the Gospel with others. God’s love and justice go hand-in-hand, making it imperative for believers to warn sinners against the delusion of taking God’s love out of context, believing that God is too loving to judge sinners. God desires repentance from all sinners and backsliders, but those who refuse will face judgment.

Quote: Grasp the seriousness of this judgment

Challenge: Share the Gospel with a friend today.

Prayer for today: .Lord, help me to live for You and share the Gospel with others.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
