Text: 2 Kings 5:1-5
1Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
3And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
4And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
5And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.
Key Verse: “And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.” 2 Kings 5:3
Message
Naaman was a soldier in the Syrian army; he was a high-ranking officer. He commanded great authority, but he had an ailment – leprosy; he was a leper. His army went to the land of Israel, fought and defeated its army and took some people captives.
A little maid (a young girl) was among them. He took her to his house to serve his wife. The little girl knew the power of the God of Israel and she did not forget or hide her faith in Him. She told her mistress that there was a prophet in Israel who could heal her husband of the leprosy. The information got to Naaman, he went to Israel and received his healing through Elisha the prophet of God.
Do you hide your faith in God from people who do not know Him? Be an ambassador for Christ like that little maid; proclaim the power of Jesus to save and to heal anywhere you find yourself. It will also make your faith to grow. Pray for the sick, share what you have with the needy, encourage those who are sad and be a worthy example to others. God will honour you.

Prayer for today: Father, please help me to proclaim Your power wherever I find myself.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
