TOPIC: THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS
TEXT: 1 PETER 1:18-21
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Key Verse: “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:19).
MESSAGE:
The power in the blood of Jesus Christ will do great and marvellous things in the lives of those who believe in Him. The suffering and death of Jesus on the cross was for our redemption from the slavery of sin. The blood symbolizes cleansing and purification.
God is love, and the greatest expression of His love towards us is the blood of Jesus. That love covers every need man has had or will ever have; and every time we apply the blood by faith, we experience an outpouring of this love.
There is power, wonder working power, in the precious blood of the Lamb. It is important for you to understand the great benefits in the blood of Jesus so that you can enjoy such to the fullest.
There is salvation and sanctification through the blood of Jesus. We are brought back into fellowship with God through the blood of Jesus. Healing and deliverance can only be accomplished through the blood of Jesus. There is protection and preservation through the blood of Jesus. We also have authority over the devil through the blood of Jesus.Have you been washed by the blood of Jesus? If yes, then continue to apply the blood by faith, so as to enjoy all the benefits.
Prayer: Lord, cleanse my heart and make me to enjoy all the benefits through Your precious blood.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)

3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
