Open Heaven For Teens 13 January 2022: The Young CEO
TOPIC: The Young CEO [Open Heaven for Teens 13 January 2022]
MEMORISE: But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth. Deuteronomy 8:11
READ: Isaiah 48:17 (KJV)
17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
MESSAGE:
Being a CEO involves the task of developing a business idea by first, identifying a need in your environment, writing a plan on how to meet it and then, using resources at your disposal to do so. Some businesses are a by-product of problems. For example, the global pandemic that started the lockdown in 2020 gave tailors the idea of producing nose masks from fabrics, while plastic manufacturers produced face shields.
The way the world is going, getting a good job with your certificate might not bring complete financial freedom, which is why you have to develop other skills to substantiate your degree. There are many problems today that only those who can think out of the box will see as opportunities from which to profit.
I always tell my children to study great people if they want to be great. Study those who became wealthy through God-given ideas, read their books and interact with them on social media. You may go a step further by becoming their mentees, so that they can guide you on your entrepreneurial journey.
ACTION POINT:
Don’t wait until you graduate from school to get a good job. Start doing something extra today.
HYMN: Sing hymn 14
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Matthew 10:24-42; Genesis 31-32
Daily Devotional for Teen’s guide was written by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, one of the largest evangelical church in the world and also the President of Christ the Redeemer’s Ministries.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
