TOPIC: TROUBLE NOT!
TEXT: ISAIAH 26:1-4
2Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Key Verse: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (ISAIAH 26:3).
MESSAGE:
‘Trouble not’ can be said in another way – don’t be anxious, sorrowful, grieved or worried. What makes you to be troubled? Do you know that Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and He brings peace to the troubled soul?
When you trust Him and believe what He has done for you on the Cross Of Calvary, He will give you His peace. With Jesus living in you, you will overcome anxiety, worry, threats of Satan and negative situations or circumstances in your life.

Are you troubled being alone, even in darkness, or going on a journey? He has promised to be with you, and His angels will watch over you. Don’t be troubled by any bully, kidnapper or wicked person, Jesus will protect you and fight your battle for you. He has promised to supply all your needs as your Great Provider. There is no more anxiety about what to eat, where to live, or your school fees being paid.
“Be not troubled” is a promise and assurance from Jesus that He has overcome for you. He is enough for you. To continue to enjoy His peace, you must always read, study and obey God’s word; pray, believing what He has promised you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I put my trust in You, let Your peace reign in my heart always.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
