DCLM Sincere Milk 27 January 2024 — “You Are Special”
DCLM Sincere Milk 27 January 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — “You Are Special”
Topic: “You Are Special”
Text: Psalms 139:13-18
13For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
Key Verse: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14
Message
God created you and had good plans and purpose for you. He chose you, created and watched you develop in your mother’s womb. His joy at your birth was great. God loves you and places great potential within you. God is also keeping His eye on you as you grow and progress in life.
Accepting God’s Son, Jesus Christ, as your Saviour and Lord is the greatest of God’s plan for your life. Salvation of your soul is the only way God’s plans for you can begin to show and you can then begin to live an enjoyable life. Always take a moment to meditate on the fact that you are special so that you can appreciate and praise God for His wonderful love in creating you.
If you are a sinner, consider all that God has done for you and completely surrender unto Him so that you will become a special child of God. Repent and turn away from all sinful habits. Promise God that you will not go back to your sins. Remember to always say to yourself “I am special.

Prayer for today: Lord, help me to know and fulfil Your purpose for my life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
