Topic: Your Healing Package Is Here

Text: James 5:13-15

13Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Key Verse: “And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed any sin, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:15).

Message

Jennifer Brown said “Just like there’s always time for pain, there’s always time for healing.” Your time for healing through Christ is now. Healing is the children’s bread, and it is included in the package Christ has given to those who accept Him as Lord and Saviour. Just as God spoke and brought the earth into existence, He can bring healing to your body or situation because He loves you. Your healing is in His redemptive package He procured for you at Calvary. Yes, our sicknesses and diseases, just like our sins, were laid on Jesus (Isaiah 53:5). Your access to this package is the prayer of faith through Christ, our Healer (Exodus 15:26).

Put your doubts and doubters aside; and don’t elevate the doctor’s report about your sickness above God’s unchanging and inexhaustible healing covenant. The healing package is for all forms of sicknesses and diseases. Christ still heals today. Only hold onto His words and promises; believe, and be healed. Your healing is in His name which is higher than all other names. By faith receive your healing.

Quote: Christ still heals today

Challenge: Healing is your covenant right.

Prayer for today: Lord, let your healing virtue flow to heal my sicknesses.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
