Bible Reading: John 10:10-11(KJV)
10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
KEY VERSE: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
Message
Satan presented Jesus a “bad gift” when he tempted Him. Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and its glory if Jesus will bow and worship him. What a bad gift! As there are good gifts, so also are bad gifts. Good gifts come from God and godly people while bad gifts come from the devil and his agents.
The trick here is that bad gift come disguised and don’t look like a bad gift. Satan deceived Adam and Eve, he gave them a bad gift (disobedience) and presented it as if it was a good gift. Unfortunately, they discovered too late. The devil and his agents have not changed. He comes with sin and calls it enjoyment. He portrays disobedience as a form of freedom and pleasure. He makes evil looks as if there will not be consequences. He says things like: “many church people are doing it,” and “Do it, so you won’t look odd.” All these lies are traps from the devil. Take your relationship with God seriously. Daily ask Him to help you to overcome every suggestion to sin against Him.
Dear God, please give me the grace to always overcome every temptation.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
