Bible Reading: Matthew 9:35-38 (KJV)
KEY VERSE: “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
Message
When you believe in Jesus and accept Him into Wyour heart, you become a new person. Your old ways of thinking, acting, and feeling are left behind, and you get to start fresh with a new heart that is focused on God. Just like when you clean a dirty shirt and make it new, Jesus washes away your sins and makes you new inside.
To become a new creature, a sinner must sincerely and consciously take the steps to salvation. (i) Know himself as a sinner who cannot save himself. (ii)Repent and confess his sins unto God for forgiveness and cleansing of his sins with the blood of Jesus. (iii) Accept Jesus into his heart as personal Saviour and Lord. From now, he will turn away from his sins and become free and free indeed. This is the step that will make the sincere seeker become born again. If you desire to become a new creature, you must be born again. (John 3:3)
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Jesus, thank You for making me a new creature.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
