6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

Key Verse: “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise” (Proverbs 6:6).

MESSAGE:

Tiny ants have great lessons to teach us. The ant, an insect so tiny that cannot in any way be compared to man, yet have great lessons to impart to us. Solomon, the king whom God gave great wisdom and understanding, tells us to go to the ant and learn vital lessons from it.

LESSON 1 – Ability to organize:

Read: Pornography Forbidden

There are three kinds of ants in a colony: workers, the queen and the males. Each of them does different jobs. They are so well organized that they carry out their entire task through division of labour.

Nothing is left undone in the ants’ colony because of the well-organized structure. This is a serious lesson for children who are not well-organized in the way they do things. Take note of this important lesson and do the following:

Wake up early to do your quiet time.

Sort out your uniform, socks, shoes, school bags and other things you need to take to school, and keep them carefully before going to bed.

Always do your assignments and homework at the right time. Do not wait until the due date for submission.

Keep your room tidy at all times. You can draw out a time-table for your daily chores.

Be prayerful and remain organized.

Prayer: Dear Lord, please give me the wisdom to organize my life.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
