TOPIC: ANTICS OF THE ANTICHRIST

TEXT: 1 JOHN 2:18-23

MEMORY VERSE: “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son” (1 JOHN 2:22).

MESSAGE:

The Bible does not tell us about the nationality or ethnicity of the Antichrist. He is one of the two beasts described in the book of Revelation Chapter 14. He is the son of perdition who will exalt himself as God with his image being worshipped, as Nebuchadnezzar did in Babylon.

He will blaspheme the Almighty God. His programme will be to make war against all who oppose him, forcing people to take the mark of the beast, 666.

There are many antichrists now operating as individuals and collectively as deceiver organizations who keep millions in spiritual darkness. They broadcast lies, deny that Jesus is the Messiah, try to distort the relationship between God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and change the Bible doctrines. Indeed, “…He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22).

Christian youth, be steadfast in your faith. If you are not a Christian, what are you waiting for? Do not be left behind at the rapture to face the wrath of the Antichrist.

QUOTE: He will blaspheme the Almighty God.

CHALLENGE: The world is being prepared for the Antichrist’s rule.

PRAYER: My God, save me from the period of the Great Tribulation.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
