Message
Israel, a young boy of 3 years was given a beautiful toy car I by his father’s younger brother who came to visit them. He collected it and said “thank you uncle”. He was appreciative of the toy car that was given to him.
Appreciation is an attitude of gratitude for a show of love towards you. When you show appreciation to someone for a gift, there is every tendency for the giver to do more. Likewise, when you appreciate God for everything, He is moved to do more for you. In everything give thanks. A grateful heart receives the best from the Lord. Learn to always appreciate God for the gift of life, for good health, for divine provision, for shelter and clothing, for godly parents and teachers, for progress in your academics, for salvation, for protection from all evil, for fighting all your battles, for not delivering you into the hands of your enemies, for success in all areas of your life.
When things are not going as planned, praise God, for the thought God has towards you is thought of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end. Do not fail to praise God in every situation and see what God will do in your life.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, I praise and worship You for You are good to me.

1 Chronicles 16:31-36
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
