Topic: Avoid Satan’s Devices
Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 2:9-11 (KJV)
9For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
11Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
KEY VERSE: “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11
Message
Satan has so many tricks and devices he uses to lure people especially children into his trap. He is wise being the god of this world. Remember he was one of the precious and lovely angels in heaven. Because of his pride and attempt to be like God, he was thrown down to the earth along with all the angels that supported him. Since then, Satan is doing all he can within his power to draw as many people as possible into hell.
You need to be watchful of the devices of the devil. The Bible makes us to understand that he walks about to and from the earth looking for whom to devour. A practical example is the story of Job in the Bible where the sons of God were having a meeting and Satan came into the midst of them. His reason for coming is to take permission to afflict Job the servant of God and in doing it, Satan came with accusation, that is why he is called the accuser of the brethren.
Do not allow Satan to take advantage of you, surrender your life to Christ, resist the Devil and he will flee from you.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, please keep me safe and free from Satan’s devices.

Ephesians 6:10-16
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
