TOPIC: BE CLOSE TO GOD
TEXT: JOB 22:21-28
21Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
22Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
23If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
24Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
25Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
26For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
27Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

MESSAGE:
Many people in the world often desire to get close to individuals in position of authority or rich people because of the benefits they can get from such people. Family members, relations and friends of rich people in the society, usually go about showing the benefits of their power and riches. They only suffer if they don’t use their connection properly.

God is the greatest and the true source of power, provision and help. Just imagine what could happen to you if you had direct connection to God. You would have direct access to abundant blessings! Jesus Christ is the only link between God and man. Know Jesus today by coming close to Him, then you will experience peace, progress and God’s manifold blessings.
Only those who have accepted Jesus can be close to God and be qualified to enjoy all that heaven provides. God’s resources are unlimited! Are you standing afar off and drawn to the things of this world? Come closer to God today and you will be blessed.
Prayer: Lord, help me to come close to You so that I can enjoy all Your blessings.
