TOPIC: JESUS LOVES YOU

TEXT: MARK 10:13-16

Key Verse: “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God” (Mark 10:14).

MESSAGE:

Jesus Christ our Saviour is deeply concerned about the salvation and spiritual growth of children, especially you. He longs to receive them, love them and bless them. Hence His command in Matthew 19:14 “…Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven”.

(a) “Suffer” means do not prevent them, and do not drive them away; for I, Jesus, am available for them.

(b) “Little children” refers to boys and girls of different age group, race, culture, language and colour.

(c) “Forbid them not” means the door of salvation is wide open for every child. No one should hinder you from accepting this special invitation from Jesus, He is waiting for you.

All you need do to respond to Christ’s invitation is to:

(i) Acknowledged that you are a sinner.

(ii) Repent and confess your sins to God.

(iii) Ask for forgiveness and cleansing of your heart with the blood of Jesus.

(iv) Ask Jesus to come into your heart to be your Saviour, Lord, Master and Friend. Do it now.

Prayer: Lord, I thank You for Your love, I accept You as my personal Saviour and Lord.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
