Bible Reading: Proverbs 10:18-22 (KJV)
18He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
19In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
20The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
21The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
22The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Message
Blessings bring happiness, prosperity, profit, pleasure, gain, favour, success, and many more. People sometimes find happiness, prosperity, success and increase through the works of their hands. On the other hand, some people think that they can be blessed through bad means. For example, a child who cheated and passed his examination feels he has received a blessing for his success. The one that stole, gained something she loves, considers it a blessing. But any blessing that does not come from God is not enriching and is not free from sorrow.
There are things or opportunities that may appear as sources of blessings to you at the moment, but add no godly value to your life and will subsequently lead to sorrow and shame. We are further taught that God’s blessing enriches, beautifies, brings peace and is sorrow-free. It is therefore wise to seek those blessings that come from God. Enriching blessings are those benefits you receive daily from God as you do those things that are pleasing to Him. Today, ask God to bless you with those sorrow- free and enriching blessings of holy living, protection, provision, wisdom and more. Make sure you remain obedient to Christ so you can keep on enjoying your blessings.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me to be obedient to You always, so that You can enrich my life with Your blessings.
