Text: Psalm 19: 7- 11
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Message
A group of scientists were conducting an experiment to determine the age of planet earth. From their experiment, they discovered that one day was missing. They made every effort to find out how this was so, but it was difficult. They all got worried and disappointed about this. Suddenly, one of them named Jerome Stowell, remembered that in the Bible, God allowed the sun to go back ten degrees as a proof that He would extend the life of king Hezekiah.

Himself and his scientist friends calculated this and found that amounting to a lot of hours almost equal to one day. Again, Stowell remembered that Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stop their movement until Israel was able to conquer their enemies. The number of hours they got from that equalled one day when added to the one they earlier got.
Meanwhile, Jerome had forsaken his faith in God. With this discovery however, himself and the other scientists knelt down in the laboratory to surrender their lives to Christ. The Bible is the word of God. It contains God’s answer to man’s questions. The Bible has an answer for every question you may have. Read it, believe what it says and obey.

Prayer for today: Lord, I believe Your word, give me grace to always obey You.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
