4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
KEY VERSE: “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:2
Message
A spiritual revival broke out in a remote village in one country. A whole congregation surrendered their lives afresh to Christ and they experienced a great move of God. During one of their meetings, the power of the Holy Ghost came down mightily on all of them. Meanwhile, the villagers who were neither Christians or members of that congregation saw the manifestation afar off. The villagers in large numbers rushed to the church where these Christians were having their meeting each having a bucket filled with water. What they met at the church kept them speechless.

They later narrated how they observed literal fire on the roof of the church when they were afar off. They thought the church was on fire, therefore they brought the buckets of water to help put out the fire. The power of the Holy Spirit came down powerfully on that congregation that even the villagers saw it as a real fire. This is more than a dynamite. Dynamite is a highly explosive material containing a mixture of some chemicals that are used to blow up an area. Spiritually, when the Holy Spirit comes upon a sanctified and thirsty believer, He descends like a dynamite as He ignites a fire within that moves that person to begin to do exploits for God.
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down as a mighty rushing wind. He ignited the believers and they became firebrands for the spread of the gospel. The Holy Ghost is still available to those that ask for Him. You can still be filled with the Holy Ghost today if you ask in faith. But first of all, you must be born again and sanctified before you can ask for the baptism in the Holy Ghost
PRAYER: Lord, please fill me with the Holy Spirit as I pray in faith.
FURTHER READING: Acts 19:1-7
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
