DCLM Sincere Milk 15 April 2026 — Our Limitless God
Bible Reading: Job 9:1-10 (KJV)
1Then Job answered and said,
2I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
3If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
4He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
5Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.
6Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
7Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
8Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
9Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
10Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
MEMORY VERSE: “Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.” Job 9:10
Message
One of such examples is in the Old Testament where Naaman, a leprous Syrian captain was told to go and wash in the Jordan River for his cleansing. He became offended because he had taught that Elisha would come and touch his leprosy while calling on the name of His God. Were it not for his servant, he would have missed his healing.
Another was this man in the New Testament who had been bedridden for 38 years and was perpetually waiting at the pool which was usually stirred by an angel. Unfortunately, he had always missed his opportunity and was still glued to the old method when Jesus, the mighty Healer Himself asked if he wanted to be made whole.
Whatever you need- healing, financial provision, academic success, favour and upliftment, just ask God in faith and don’t dictate to Him how He should go about it. He knows how best to attend to your needs. All you need to do is to trust Him.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me not to limit Your move in my thoughts and in my actions, do wonders in my life in Jesus name.
FURTHER READING
Hosea 4:6
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
