Text: Ecclesiastes 12: 1-7
2While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
3In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
4And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
5Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:
6Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Key Verse: “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).
Message
Youthful stage is the most vital period in one’s life. It is the prime of one’s life, a time of choices and major decision-making in life. William B. Given said, “When possible make the decision now, even if action is in the future. A reviewed decision usually is better than the one reached at the last moment.” Your destiny is in your hand. You cannot make any head way in life without remembering God. Some youths rule out honouring God in their daily pursuit. They live their life as if they hold tomorrow at their fingertips. Learn to appreciate God in your life by serving Him truly, and living a consistent Christian life. Let your lifestyle show that you remember God.
There are youths who gave their lives to Christ early and continue with Him. Such remember God always. However, the sinning youth must be reminded to turn to God and remember Him to seek forgiveness of sins and salvation of their souls. Thereafter you remember God for protection and deliverance and make the whole world to remember Him (Psalm 20:7; 22:27).

Prayer for today: Help me to remember you always, oh God!
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
