Text: Hebrews 11:1-6
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2For by it the elders obtained a good report.
4By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Message
Living a life that pleases the Lord is the true mark of the Christian life. A life that pleases the Lord must be a life of faith because faith is the bedrock of our relationship with Christ. A child that lives by faith speaks the words of faith daily, hears the words of faith regularly, sees through the eyes of faith always and stands on the words of faith firmly. Faith is the unshakable and undeniable trust in the all-powerful God to do the seemingly impossible.
All things are possible unto you, if only you live the life of faith moment by moment. A life of faith means that you daily:
L – learn of Him (Christ).
I – Influence others for Him.
F – Follow His will.
E – Exemplify His ways.
A life of faith will take you from victory to victory till you see the Lord face to face.

Prayer for today: Dear Father, I surrender all to You, help me to daily live for You.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
