Text: Mark 5:25-34
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Message
Jesus said to the woman in our Bible passage “thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole”. The subject of faith is personal. Though Jesus has made provision for our salvation, sanctification, healing and deliverance; you still need faith to receive these blessings. Faith looks to Christ for salvation, and receives blessings from Him such as righteousness, peace, pardon, adoption and eternal life.

As a true friend of Jesus, what are you passing through today? Does the situation look hopeless? Remember that the woman with the issue of blood had carried the problem for twelve years without solution, but she made up her mind to take a step of faith by touching Jesus. Was she disappointed? No, she received her healing! She got real peace that comes from an encounter with the Prince of Peace and she also got her miracle. Only Jesus is the author of salvation and the Master over sickness and other problems of life. Jesus’ power heals when a person is connected to Him through the power of personal faith.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, help me to always trust and believe in You for my miracle.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
