Message

When a person accepts the gospel, and repents, he or she becomes a child of God. The desire of every such child is to partake of God’s glory and fellowship with Him both here on earth and in heaven at last. The believer henceforth, desires more of God in holiness, purity and love. However, according to the apostle of Faith, Smith Wigglesworth, when a saint ceases to seek after holiness, purity, righteousness, truth, prayer, reading the word and pursues carnal appetites, then Satan can penetrate him or her.

Are you longing for pure motives and thoughts? Do you always want to have all your actions untarnished with sin? If yes, it means you want to walk with God with a pure heart. Purity and innocence are godly virtues.  As in science, purity is freedom from contaminants. It is the absence of anything spiritually unwanted. Saints like Enoch, Joseph, Ruth and Esther were pure. The pure in heart have access to God and will see Him. Beloved, keep yourself pure and enjoy God’s blessings.

Quote: Beloved, keep yourself pure

Challenge: Pray and read God’s Word.

Prayer for today: Lord, I wholly yield to you; make me pure within and without.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
