14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Key Verse: “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death” (Revelation 20:14)

Message

The Bible is replete with revelations of the realty of Hell. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, the greatest Preacher of all time preached about hell often, contrary to what we find in most modern churches today which have shifted emphasis from holiness to prosperity. Hell is certain for a life that is lived without God. The fact remains that God cannot accommodate sinners in His kingdom because He has made provision for all of us to escape hell and be with Him in His kingdom through the finished work of redemption at the cross.

The moment someone dies in sin, it becomes automatic that the person has booked a permanent place in hell. Living in sin is a gateway to hell. My friend, there is no way of escape for anyone who dies without Christ. Do you remember the story of the Rich man and Lazarus (Luke16:19-31)? Jesus Christ is the only way of escape from hell. Give your life to Him, today, and heaven will be yours. Have a genuine repentance and turn away from sin. Delay can be very dangerous.

Quote: Delay can be very dangerous

Challenge: Live a daily life of holiness.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to be holy so that l will not miss heaven.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
