TOPIC: THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING

TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Key Verse: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

MESSAGE:

Our God is Omniscient; He knows what has happened, what is happening and what will happen. He knows that there is a right time for every thing under heaven. Nothing is new to Him. God is in all situations and no condition can change who He is.

Every human being passes through stages of growth. Babies learn to sit, crawl, stand and walk. These stages come with their challenges, but babies advance through them naturally.

There is no state or condition in life that is permanent. As believers, we should learn to endure our hard moments and wait patiently on God. We should learn to focus on solutions rather than focusing on problems.

When we are experiencing bad times, we should trust God that the situation is temporary and will soon give way to good and pleasant times, and the season will change. People usually take courage in the saying that, “Tough times do not last but tough people do.” If unbelievers can believe that their hard situation will pass, how much more should Christians who are surrounded with unfailing promises of God.

Trust that God is present in every single time and season, and that He will come through for you no matter how hard things may be now. Put your confidence in the Almighty God, and He will change your bitter situations to blessings. Your time to laugh is here!.

Prayer: Lord God, help me to remain steadfast in all situations of life, and also to trust You for solutions.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
