Message

A testifier once shared his experience during the 2020 global lockdown. He said; “Before 2020, I’ve never experienced hardship as a believer. I lived in abundance and believed that the best plan is to always put God first, then queue up other priorities afterwards. I was so wrong. That year brought a different reality. It made me realise that from plan A to plan Z should be God because every other plan may fail but God can never fail. With no other plan of action, no hope of supply, God became all my plans. Of course, He showed up with divine financial solutions. Sometimes, we don’t know how independent we’ve grown from God until we are in deep trouble. Trusting God is non-negotiable for anybody that needs daily victory in all areas of their lives”

Your life as a child of God should be that of complete obedience to the word of God and total dependence on His unfailing promises at all times. Like the song writer, you must constantly proclaim with confidence “if God be for us, who can be against us?” It is wise that as you leave the house today, you decide that no matter the outcome of today’s activities, you must live by faith because you know Whom you have believed and you are persuaded that He can do all things.

Quote: He can do all things

Challenge: Trusting God is the surest path.

Prayer for today: Lord, give me the grace to always trust You absolutely.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
