MESSAGE:

There are so many people who try again and again, to get good grades, but somehow, even after studying so they still don’t do well in their exams. For some, their brains even blank out during exams. I have experienced this before. I was very prepared for an exam: as a matter of fact, I had read everything in the syllabus, but on getting to the exam hall, my brain planked out. I could not remember anything I had read. If this has been your case, today marks the end of that experience for you, in Jesus name.

You see, God keeps a storage of new body parts in heaven. He has that storage for people who ask for new parts, so He can give them. If your brain is performing poorly, you can ask God for a brand new one and He will give it to you. If your brain is just average, but you want to be excellent, you can also ask God and He will give you a more excellent brain. This is the advantage that we have as children of God. Whenever we ask for ANYTHING in His name, He will give it to us (Matthew 21:22).

PRAYER POINT: Today, I trade all my sorrows, pains and shame for the joy and peace of the Lord.

HYMN: What A Friend We Have 8n Jesus

  1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
    All our sins and griefs to bear;
    what a privilege to carry
    Ev’rything to God in prayer.
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear-
All because we do not carry
    Ev’rything to God in prayer.
  2. Have we trials and temptations?
    Is there trouble anywhere?
    We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a Friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
    Jesus knows our ev’ry weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
  3. Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
    Precious Saviour, still our refuge,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
